4 week (12 sessions) evening course with Liam 

This course is designed for those who have had a little experience before in the upholstery world and are looking to take their skills to the next level.

Our sessions will take place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, 5pm-8:30pm (dates below). Over the 4 week duration you will have 42 hours (12 sessions) to complete your chair. The course is designed on the likelihood that you may not be able to make a few of the dates due to personal commitments, but this is okay as my prediction is most students chairs will be complete from between 9-12 sessions. Of course, this depends on several factors including speed of student. 

So if you cant make all of the dates, don't worry, that is the design of the course setup.

With a max of 5 people on a workshop, engross yourself in a fun, relaxed and informative environment to produce a lovely piece of furniture to take home and show off to your friends and family!

Course dates and setup:

• Monday: 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd March 2027
• Tuesday: 2nd, 9th, 16th & 23rd March 2027
• Wednesday: 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th March 2027
• Evening course: 5pm - 8:30pm. Please arrive promptly to maximise your workshop time.
• Free and easily assessible car parking at venue.

What's provided:

• Workshop studio environment at The Hut, Brampton Community Centre, CA8 1BX.
• Tea, coffee and refreshments throughout.
• All general upholstery materials (frame, queen anne legs, foam, dacron, webbing, staples, studs etc). 
• All upholstery tools are provided, but you can bring your own if preferred.
• Between Monday and Wednesday you will be able to leave your chair in the workshop. As the workshop is a shared space, we are unsure at this point if you would be able to safely leave your chair at the studio outside of these days/hours. We will confirm this prior to the course starting. We do recommend though, taking home your frame/chair each week if possible.

What you will need to bring with you

• Your fabric of your choice. Amount will be discussed on booking but you will be looking at around 5-7 metres.
  
• We do offer a whole range of fabrics ourselves so if you are struggling to find any yourself please do give us a shout.

Booking and Cancellation Policy

Due to this course being a larger investment then our other courses, we can offer a split payment option (50% on booking and 50% one month before). Please contact us to discuss this more.

We always strive to put on every workshop however due to running costs we do have a course minimum of 3 people. In the event of having less than 3, we can offer to transfer you onto another course of your convenience or receive a full refund. 

If the booking is cancelled less than 1 month before the date of first workshop in this series, then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.

Refunds for cancellations over 30 days are subject to the small admin charge we incurred when taking initial payment.
