Gallus Small Modern Sofa

A super modern and contemporary small sofa suitable for use in a range of domestic settings. Covered in a complimenting combination of our Gallus velvet print and deep orange plain velvet. Sure to be the showstopper piece in a small or larger space.

Gallus print: Although we live in the middle of nowhere surrounded by fields and farms we love our city life (we used to live in London for 8 years).

I take a lot of inspiration from the humdrum of city life including the art and creativity all around. Being in Cumbria we live close to Scotland and have visited Glasgow regularly since moving up here. Such an underrated city, often over looked by its close neighbour, and has an incredibly vibrant art culture to boot.

This design was inspired by the graffiti that adorns numerous buildings in the city as well as a little shout out to their love of certain confectionaries and putting traffic cones on historic monuments (google the backstory to this one).

Gallus Translation: A wee gem of a word, gallus is a persona, a statement, a character. It’s a type of incorrigible swag that you either have or you don’t. When you stroll into that room with a gallus strut, you know all eyes are upon you.
