Our Wainwright print pays homage to the North Lakes. Living only 20 minutes from Ullswater you will often find us roaming the fells or kayaking on the lakes of the area.
There is a nod to many of the sights of the area including the Ullswater Boathouse and Steamer, Castlerigg stone circle and Blencathra.
Along with our famous Cumbrian landmarks, nature, as often with our prints, play a big part of our patterns. Trees and water are centre theme to most of our Lake District collection prints, with the aim and feeling of bringing the outside back indoors.
We, of course, named this pattern after the Cumbrian legend (albeit born in Lancashire), Alfred Wainwright. He was the famous author and illustrator who produced several pictorial guides to the Lake District. We are currently in the process of completing his infamous '214 fells of the Lakes'. It may take us a while!
Our prints are available in two fabrics; Velvet and a Linen/Cotton Union. See below for a bit more information on them.

Fabric Composition:
1) Upholstery Velvet (Fully fire retardant) - 100% Polyester
2) Soft Velvet (Furnishing fabric use - non FR treated) - 100% Polyester
3) Linen/Cotton Union (Furnishing fabric use - non FR treated) - 55% Linen / 45% Cotton
If you would like to use the Linen/Cotton Union for upholstery purposes we can get this FR treated at a small extra cost per metre. Please message for more details on this.

UK Delivery Timescale: As we often print our fabrics to order, we aim to have your fabric order to you within 2 weeks.
International Delivery: We are happy to be able to deliver to several countries worldwide including; Great Britain, USA and Canada.
